Semi-Finished

Sestafoglia produces different types of semi-finished products.  They are designed for the food processing industry to prepare Pesto alla Genovese and other sauces.

The transforming process of the basil starts shortly after the harvesting.  In the field there is an accurate cutting procedure therefor just the tender part of the plant will be processed. The short distance between the cultivated fields and the factory allows the basil to be worked immediately, avoiding oxidation processes and thus guaranteeing high quality.

The various semi-finished recipes are available with conventional vegetables or as organic.
